The Friends of Pangbourne Library are a group of people who are determined to maintain a library service in Pangbourne, West Berkshire, following the loss of local authority funding.
Initially we will be forming a steering group to decide how we go about keeping our library open, and eventually a management group to take on the day-to-day responsibility of running the library. If you are interested in being on either of these groups, or have any particular skills which could help, please get in touch. We'd be particularly keen to hear from you if you are an accountant, surveyor or lawyer.
We will also need lots of volunteers for various things, from staffing the library, to fundraising, to maintaining the library building.
Finally, if you have any ideas about how to raise money or increase the number of people who are willing to be involved, we need your input!
