Artisan creating unique furbishing. Up-Cycling, funky and industrial style, Shabby chic Driftwood Art. Clients own furniture can be updated too.
Funky Furbish is an evolution from my shop Seahorse, where I began working on small driftwood art, upcycling and shabby chic furniture. As this side of the business grew I realised I needed a bigger workshop to work from. A place for folk to come and see the pieces I have or to have their own furniture worked on and updated.
Here I will concentrate solely on Up-cycling, shabby chic and driftwood art.
I have many years experience as a painter and decorator with a full knowledge of materials and techniques involved in shabby Chic design.
My time spent with the Mutoid Waste Company in the 90's in Italy taught me how to up-cycle and be creative with waste before it was even popular!
I have also worked a lot with driftwood and enjoy making things with seaglass too.
All this combined means that I shall be creating unique furbishing for the home so have a browse in the photos and feel free to visit the workshop which I hope to open from the beginning of August. I can be contacted through this page or phone me if you would like furniture upcycled for you or if you see something I have in stock in my photos.
