At Galloway Velvet, we like the idea of things that last, which is why we stock a range of classic bedding and soft furnishings in fabrics and designs that do not go out of fashion. Our collection includes velvet quilts, applique cushions and throws and (at the other end of the spectrum) simple cotton bedspreads.

Our velvet quilts have a single panel with a repeated cross motif which is reminiscent of the designs found on ancient Galloway stones. The velvet quilting is completed using ribbon-work to contrast with the tufted panel design. Quilt sets come in the colours of the Galloway landscape – Heather, Copper, Selkie and Damask pink.

We stock a range of applique cushions, which we have called Botanica. These are gloriously rich in texture and colour and include, ‘Blossom,’ ‘Fern,’ ‘Brambly’ and ‘Butterfly,’ and come in scatter cushion or plump pillow sizes.

As well as the Botanic range we also have a fun range of applique throws and cushions. These have panels of roses literally growing out of them and come in Dusky pink, Valentine red and Kyanos blue.

Lastly, our handloom cotton bedspreads are the epitome of simplicity. These smooth textured thick cottons come in classic Natural, Orchid and Atlantic Blue and are accompanied by matching scatter and plump pillows.
