Hi, my name is Sophie and i have been Ofsted registered since March 2015. I worked at a local nursery in Stamford for 2 years before leaving to start my own family in 2013. I started my training to become a childminder in June 2014 and completed this and became registered with ofsted in March 2015.

I have the following qualifications and certificates:
*NVQ level 2 in childcare and early years
*NVQ level 3 in childcare and early years
*CACHE Award Understand how to set up a home based childcare service
*Paediatric first aid
*Safeguarding Children
*Supporting children with speech, language and communication needs
*An Introduction to Children Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
*Raising Developmental Concerns with Parents

.I feel that in my setting i create a home from home environment where children learn through having fun. I have vast knowledge of caring for children between the ages of 0-5 years old and can tailor activities for a range of different ages. I have a vast amount of toys for children of all ages upto 13 years+.

I live in the village of Ryhall where there are some lovely nature walks, a park, library and toddler groups which i take the children in my care too.
I also live just a 5 minute walk from Ryhall village primary school so i am also available for school pick up and drop off. I do not drive so i am limited to Ryhall primary school pick up and drop off only.

My house is on a very quiet road in the village with a large grass green opposite, i have a very large back garden which is perfect for outdoor play. I have a fantastic seperate playroom which used to be my outhouse which overlooks the back garden via french doors.

We own a leopard gecko called 'izzy' and we also have a dog called roxy who is brilliant with children, she will be in a seperate part of my house whilst children are in my care and she also has her own seperated space in the garden.

I am available Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 6:00pm all year round excluding bank holidays.
Hours can be flexible.
I also offer 2,3 and 4 year old funded hours.
