Gig Mill is a holiday home in the Cotswolds, England, located in a converted mill on the edge of Gatcombe Water, between Nailsworth and Minchinhampton.
Hidden in one of the Cotswolds' best kept secrets (Nailsworth - voted #32 in the top 50 places to live in Briitain by the Sunday Times), Gig Mill is a glorious holiday home set within a historic, converted mill that is as ideal for weekend recharge as it is for a family holiday. The mill, formerly where the tennis balls for Wimbledon and the green baize for snooker tables were once made, has been carefully and gradually brought back to life and today stands proud in an absolutely outstanding Cotswolds' location. There are miles and miles of walks in all directions, including the stunning Minchinhampton Common and 3 golf courses. The property also borders Gatcombe Water (which once fed the mill's turbines) adjacent to Gatcombe Park, the home of The Princess Royal, where you can relax, view the wildlife and listen to the rush of the nearby waterfall. There are also two great villages nearby - so you have everything on your doorstep. Inside the property you will find modern interiors, a cool contemporary kitchen with all the gizmos, a large living room and an absolutely belting master bedroom suite. The second bedroom has its own ensuite too! Blissfully rural, deep in the Cotswolds, you are in real countryside with peace surrounding you and yet some of the regions' best pubs and shops all within a few miles!
