Having trouble with words? Whether it's your website, sales letters, blogs, press releases, email campaigns, eBooks and God knows what else, I'm here.

If you’ve decided you need a writer, read on. If you don’t give a monkey’s, definitely read on!

It’s like this: on a day to day basis I speak to people, from all walks of life, who have unique personalities, skills and talents. It's a big world, and we all add something to it in our own special ways.

But sadly, if you're anything like most people, you'll find it hard to demonstrate those skills, express those talents and broadcast your unique personality. And why? Simply because we’ve flung headlong into the digital age, that’s why. It’s all about WRITING, as well as doing.

In the good old days, walking the walk and talking the talk was enough to get your message across to clients, employers and whoever else you had to impress. A good old chat was enough, or the reputation that preceded you.

Some of us pine for these days and wonder “Why should I have to write? I’m a builder, a craftsperson, an artist, an entrepreneur... I left that writing lark behind when I left school!”

But you might as well face it and get used to it: the ‘good old days’ are gone. The world is much smaller, and your reputation won’t grow unless you attract followers from the global village we know as the internet. You have to get online and get blogging, tweeting and emailing your way into the hearts and minds of those you want to impress. It’s just the way it is I’m afraid.

Luckily, many of us have got to grips with this interweb malarkey. And good for you if you have. But unfortunately, it’s easier said than done if you’re not very literate, grammar-conscious or just ‘can’t do the real you’ when you write. To me, the tragedy is seeing people I know to be vibrant, talented souls become reduced to shallow, monotone descriptions once language jumps into the mix.

And then there’s those of you who just don’t have TIME. Ah, time... do you miss it?

That’s why I want to do something about it...
You see, I’m pretty good at writing. And luckily, I have time for it too. I can get myself across pretty well, the words flow and – dare I say it – reveal my personality. More importantly, I know how to communicate my thoughts, feelings and ideas, and ‘being good at spelling’ is only a small part of that.

So where do YOU come in? Well I’m pretty good at reading people too, and understanding what they’re good at, what they want and what they are trying to say. If your personality doesn’t shine through when you write, I can spot it a mile off. But then, like the most hard-working of method actors, I study you, get to know you and – for the duration of the exercise – become you. It’s all a bit airy-fairy I know, but it works! I bring out your unique character, and show it to the world.

So whether you want to write detailed blogs about your ‘meaning of life’, launch an email campaign to sell your astounding product, or just post a few witty updates on Facebook and Twitter, I have the words that escape you. I’m your man for the big, small, short and long. I’m the wordsmith; the bee’s knees; the dog’s... bone. What more can I say? The rest is up to you. Send me a message or give me a call when you’re ready, and we’ll discuss what you need and when you need it – at a price that suits us both.

But without further ado, here’s what some of my satisfied customers say...

“I was beyond pleased with how Tony helped me with the wording of a marketing campaign I recently carried out. I’d never really considered I needed help before, as I know my product and market so well and have succeeded on my own so far.

But being a bit pushed for time, I asked for Tony’s help, it was so easy, I was actually a bit lazy about the content I gave him to work with. He just asked me for a bit of info on the good points about my product which I provided, but it was literally that, just some quickly written notes.

Then without needing any further communication he produced a piece of writing that sold the product to myself! I didn’t know what to expect so was delighted with the result. I immediately wanted to send him all our text on leaflets, emails and our website to rewrite. Now I have decided to continue to outsource my written content, just like my IT guy does my website, the graphics guy does my leaflets, I hope Tony can do the wording!”
– CARMEN CROXALL, THE PROP FACTORY

“Tony has worked for me over the past few years, writing press releases and managing online coverage during the Edinburgh Festival, as well as managing press for UK touring shows.

Tony’s writing skills are impressive, armed with his journalistic experience, he knows exactly what’s required of a press release, what it needs to say and how it needs to be said.

Tony’s friendly manner when dealing with regional journalists, and with the touring artists is excellent, and he is extremely efficient and organized. Tony is always a pleasure to work alongside.”
- AMANDA EMERY, EMERY PR

"Between writing news articles, penning features and interviews, proofreading and editing, Tony was a valuable asset to the M44 News team and a pleasure to work with.” – STEVE MOSS, M44 NEWS

“If you need a great piece of copy, Tony is your man.”
- ANDY OLIVER, COWS GO MOO DESIGN

“Tony wrote a pitch for my product and I was well chuffed with it. He knew exactly what I wanted to say and got my personality across, I'd recommend him to anyone!"”
