Gosforth Cycleworks is an independent cycle repair & bike service centre based in Gosforth. We work on all kinds of bikes and carry various types of work, from changing a tyre to full bike builds, maintenance and different levels of service to suit each customers needs.

Our Bike Services come in three levels:

Basic Service - £25
Gear and Brake adjustment
All bolts checked and tightened to manufacturers recommended torque settings
All components checked for wear and adjusted
Tyre pressures checked and inflated to the correct pressure

Comprehensive Service - £55
Gear and Brake adjustment
All bolts checked and tightened to manufacturers recommended torque settings
All components checked for wear and adjusted
Tyre pressures checked and inflated to the correct pressure
Replacement of worn/non working parts as required
Wheels trued and spokes tensioned
Drive train degreased
Bike thoroughly cleaned

Platinum Service - £95
Gear and Brake adjustment
All bolts checked and tightened to manufacturers recommended torque settings
All components checked for wear and adjusted
Tyre pressures checked and inflated to the correct pressure
Replacement of worn/non working parts as required
Wheels trued and spokes tensioned
Drive train degreased
Bike thoroughly cleaned
Headset and bottom bracket serviced
Hubs serviced and greased according to manufacturers recommendations
The Platinum service includes stripping down the entire bike where necessary to ensure it is in complete and optimum condition
