Gravesend Detachment is open on Tuesday's and Thrusdays at 1900hrs till 2130hrs.

The Army Cadet Force is a military based youth organisation, supported by the MOD. All adult instructors volunteer give their time to training young adults that come into this organisation. All adult instructors undergo training throughout their career, this is always to a high standard and they pride themselves in what they do, safe system of training and duty of care is always our mean priority when training young adults. Many cadets that join the ACF gain and achieve personal skills and self-confidence.
Anyone looking to join cadet force must be 12 years of age, and must be in year 8 of secondary school. Where they will continue until they reach 18 years of age, where they will either leave or become an adult volunteer, which most cadets do when they reach a senior level.
Throughout their career, they well take part in my any activities ranging from Drill, Turnout, Military Knowledge, Weapons Training, Shooting, Map and Compass, First Aid. Cadets also participate in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, Rock Climbing, various Water sports, and many more activities. They can also gain promotion from LCpl to cadet RSM.
