Our rooms are decorated and furnished with your comfort in mind combining delightful soft furnishings, crisp white linen, sumptuous duvets, superior mattresses with fine furniture. We can offer double, twin, triple and single rooms, all of them are ensuite and because we know our guests like to come and go as they choose all have their own entrance. You can make coffee, hot chocolate and a variety of teas in your room from your well stocked welcome tray, we also supply bottled water and delicious biscuits from Marshfield Bakery.
As soon as you arrive at Great Ashley Farm, you will know you have found somewhere rather special. You’ll find us warm and welcoming, with a lifetime’s knowledge of Bradford-on-Avon, Wiltshire and Bath. The house overlooks a large natural pond abundant with ducks and wildlife and beyond the extensive gardens are fields where horses graze offering a calming atmosphere, peace and tranquility


Great Ashley Farm Cottage

Nestled in a quiet country lane on the edge of Great Ashley Farm , this beautifully converted farm building is surrounded by peaceful Wiltshire countryside ideal for walkers, golfers and cyclists yet has the UNESCO world heritage city of Bath on it’s doorstep. It has a patio with lovely cream wrought iron furniture, barbecue and garden with plenty of parking just outside. The cottage has just been awarded a Gold Accolade for quality and exceptional service.
The picture book Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon with the Kennet & Avon Canal, shops, pubs and restaurants is just 2 miles away. Lacock, Stonehenge, Wells, Castle Combe and The Cotswolds are all close by.
Great Ashley Farm cottage is beautifully decorated throughout retaining many of it’s original features with high quality furniture, fittings and lovely soft furnishings. The high standard of furnishings creates a warm and cosy interior. Enter the cottage in to a spacious open plan living area with limestone flooring, exposed timbers, a fully equipped farm house style kitchen contains an electric oven , hob and microwave, dishwasher, fridge /freezer The dining area contains a country kitchen table and four chairs. There are comfy sofa’s and flat screen T.V and DVD player in the sitting area with French doors leading onto the patio. Perfect for those lovely warm summer evenings.
In the hallway to the rear of the kitchen there is a small utility area with laundry facilities and coat storage.
The two pretty bedrooms offer twin and double bed accommodation with quality mattresses, lovely soft furnishings and crisp white linen assuring you of a restful nights sleep. The twin room is large enough to accommodate a cot – there is a cot and high chair available in the cottage

Great Ashley Farm is set in a beautiful part of Wiltshire just outside of Bradford-on-Avon and a stones throw from the World Heritage site of Bath. The working livestock farm & equestrian yard is owned and run by us, The Rawlings Family and home to our herd of pure bred Sussex cattle. The farm is in a fantastic rural location, situated just outside of the Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon, minutes away from the Kennet and Avon Canal, and with the Cotswold area of outstanding natural beauty on our doorstep.
