Beautiful spacious self catering barn conversion with accommodation on three levels. Great for a romantic getaway or fun family holiday. Large relaxing sitting room, large kitchen/dining room and shower room. The stunning main bedroom has a king size bed and is accessed from the sitting room through a low doorway under a beam. There is a mezzanine and landing bedroom with 2 full sized single beds tucked under the beams The mezzanine bed has a small set of steps to climb and is suitable for agile adults and children. All linen and towels are provided. Gribyn cottage is comfortable and cosy, with underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs. All bedlinen is 100% cotton and the kitchen/dining room is very well equipped. Wireless internet is available in all rooms except the main bedroom and there is a good mobile telephone signal for most networks. We live in the adjoining barn and my pottery studio is on site, so I'm usually busy working in there and on hand to help guests.

We are situated 7 miles from the market town of Llanidloes and just 2 miles from the village of Trefeglwys which has a pub and very well stocked community run shop/post office/internet cafe which is open 7 days a week.

This is a wonderful relaxing space, with beams and wooden floors and original stone walls inside and out. Amazing views, lovely walks. We keep hens and grow our own vegetables, so both eggs and veggies are usually available to buy.

You can walk through our beautiful woodland area and have exclusive use of a small deck within an informal garden area, which catches the morning and evening sun with breathtaking views across the valley.

There is plenty to do within half an hour including, fishing, swimming, art galleries, sailing, biking, walking, clay shooting, forestry walks, quad biking, horse riding, museums, local market and specialist shops. The coast is less than an hour away.

You will need a car to get to Gribyn Cottage. There is a train station in Caersws which is 7 miles away with trains running every couple of hours.
