Welcome to the Haddington Badminton Club Facebook page. We aim to promote, encourage and increase engagement in badminton across Haddington and East Lothian
We are a social club and are always on the lookout for new members. We welcome all standards of player aged 16 and upwards.
You will need some comfortable trainers, sports wear and a bottle of water.
Rackets are a personal choice and we advise that you bring you own, however, we do have some available for loan.
We only play doubles and our club nights offer the opportunity to play against and with players of differing strengths and abilities.
We play in the Corn Exchange in Haddington, East Lothian every Tuesday evening from 7:30pm until 9:30pm September through to April.
For those looking for more competitive games, the club competes in the East Lothian League and the Lothian League. To be eligible to play in these leagues, the Club is affiliated to the East Lothian Badminton Association (ELBA) and Badminton Scotland.
We have two mixed teams in the East Lothian League and a Ladies and a Men's team in the Lothian League. The East Lothian League can be traced back to 1953 (see the Fixtures page).
We have a qualified instructor accredited with a UKCC Level 1 available to members looking for coaching; this is included in the membership fee.
