The Food Assembly’s vision is to create a better way to eat, where everyone has access to the pleasure of local food, and is connected to the people who make it.
Not sure what a Food Assembly is? Think of any farmers' market full of local fresh produce direct from the producer. We are are similar; you have access to fresh local produce, except you order online. Our producers set up the "market" at the venue (on Monday night 6pm) and you collect your order from each producer. All done in just a few minutes. No money needed as already paid!
Community is at the heart of The Food Assembly.
The team behind the Haddington Food Assembly are Bryden McKinnie from Jacobite Apiaries who produce East Lothian raw honey.
