Hardwick Old Hall - 01246 850431

The impressive ruin of Bess of Hardwick's Manor House, administered by The English Heritage Trust.

Hardwick Old Hall is a ruin of one of Bess of Hardwicks' manor houses, run by The English Heritage Trust. Join us and explore the property, discovering where the bottom of the household performed their daily tasks, to where the top dined and slept, surrounded by the stunning plasterwork that still survives in part to this day. The site has something for all, a large picnic area for families to come and have lunch; beautiful views accross the Derbyshire valley for photographers and a perfect place to stop off if you're cycling in the area or walking your dog, ramblers and muddy paws are more than welcome!
