Unpaid invoices? Having cashflow difficulties? We can help.
Commercial Mediation is a way of resolving a commercial dispute.
How could Commercial Mediation help me?
A Commercial Mediation is private and confidential. The Mediator acts as a neutral party, who attempts to establish dialogue between previously hostile parties.
Mediation can be used to resolve say a long standing overdue account or a long running dispute over the quality of goods and/or services provided by one party to the other.
Who are we?
James Craddock, who was admitted by the Law Society in 1980 and practised as a solicitor for over thirty years whilst retiring in 2013, is the principal of the Practice known as Hayling Mediation whose Website is www.haylingmediation.com. During his legal career James was an experienced SME commercial litigator besides working mostly in general high street practices in a variety of roles whereby he has a depth of prior litigation experience unusual today when most lawyers practise solely in a specific legal discipline upon qualification.
James’ particular area of legal interest is building and construction disputes, as his Welsh speaking forebears were carpenter builders whereby both his father and uncle worked within the construction industry for many decades.
After retirement James has trained as both a Commercial Mediator and as a Community Mediator. Since 2013 he has acted as a Mediator in a variety of cases with or without lawyers present to advise the parties.
In addition, James has attended courses in non violent communication techniques, inter-generational mediation, mental health awareness, bereavement appreciation and elder mediation.
