The Paxton Centre is a drop-in centre open to everyone, it is a thriving environment where a wide range of activities and alternative therapies take place: there is something for everyone! The Paxton Centre is also simply a place to come and enjoy the beautiful views across the Forth Estuary whilst enjoying a cup of tea. In addition we also run MS therapies one day per month; please contact us for more information. Comfortable, accessible rooms are also available for meetings, self-management classes, events and/or training, if you are interested in hiring a room please get in contact with us.
The Paxton Centre and the self-catering accommodation are as a result of Isobel Paxton who bequeathed her estate Homelands to charity. The ethos of her request, was to establish and maintain a facility to enable individuals affected by a range of disabling conditions (including their family, friends and carers). The Trust was set up in 1998 to carry out the wishes of a Miss Paxton: and the rest is history.
