Home Presteigne

Home Presteigne is a cooperative organisation for housing.
Sefydliad cydweithredol yn ymwneud â thai yw Home Presteigne.

It was set up so that people of the Presteigne area could plan, build and refurbish sustainable and affordable homes for the future.

We were registered as a Community Benefit Society in 2013

The grant funded project ‘WHAT DO YOU THINK?’ will help launch Home Presteigne. It’s a 10-week project, employing two local people. We are funded by the Big Lottery, with support from the Town Council.

“What Do You Think” is all about having new conversations about sustainable and affordable housing. We have been out and about at different events in the town, listening to everyone’s housing needs, views and ideas.

We also organised a free children’s art project at The Rodd, exploring sustainable housing and funded by the JAC Trust.

And don’t forget to come to the special launch of Home Presteigne on 9th July in St Andrew’s Hall. We will be open from 3.00pm for people to drop in and chat, with a special event in the evening.

LAND
We are currently looking for a piece of land. If you would like to suggest and/or offer us a suitable piece of land or building/s that could be converted to sustainable, affordable homes for local people, please contact Home Presteigne steering group

Bydd y prosiect ‘BETH YW’CH BARN CHI?’, a ariennir â grant, yn helpu i lansio Home Presteigne. Prosiect 10 wythnos yw hwn, yn cyflogi dau o bobl leol. Rydym ni’n cael ein hariannu gan y Loteri Fawr, â chymorth oddi wrth y Cyngor Tref.

Mae a wnelo “Beth Yw’ch Barn Chi” â chael sgyrsiau newydd ynglŷn â thai cynaliadwy a fforddiadwy. Rydym ni wedi codi allan i ddigwyddiadau gwahanol yn y dref, yn gwrando ar anghenion, barn a syniadau pawb ynglŷn â thai.

Gwnaethom ni hefyd drefnu prosiect celf i’r plant yn The Rodd, sef prosiect rhad ac am ddim a oedd wedi’i ariannu gan Ymddiriedolaeth JAC ac a oedd yn edrych ar destun tai cynaliadwy.
