A friendly Samba Drumming Band - learn to drum and meet new friends at our friendly workshops - Fridays 7.45-9.30 at Southgate Theatre, Southgate, Honley.

We are a friendly Community Samba band in the beautiful Holme Valley village of Honley.

We rehearse weekly on a Friday evening, 7.45-9.15pm in the gorgeous Southgate Theatre Honley. Come along to a workshop to make new friends and have a laugh learning new skills and tunes. We may also be found down the pub after practice!

Sessions cost £4.50 (£3.50 concessions) and are suitable for anybody aged 11 and over.

We play a mixture of traditional tunes and songs composed/arranged by the leader or band members. The band is led by community drummer Katie Mallard. All instruments are provided by the band leader.
