Aesthetics practitioner who provides Non-Surgical Cosmetic Facial Treatments

I am a qualified Registered General Nurse who has a Degree in 'Nursing Studies' gained at Glasgow Caledonian University. I am trained and fully insured in providing Non-Surgical Cosmetic Facial Treatments; usingMedical Dermal Fillers and Botulinum Toxin A.

Medical Dermal Fillers is a Hyaluronic Acid which is found naturally in our skin. Hyaluronic Acid, in Gel form is injected into lines and wrinkles, plumping out those signs of life's daily stresses, making us look years younger instantly. Dermal fillers can last up to 9 months and are a fantastic way to turn back time for one-off special occasions. I use Belotero and Juvaderm Ultra dermal filling injections which are both highly recommended in the cosmetic industry.
During treatment I will use a topical local anaesthetic to reduce any discomfort as there will be multiple injections administered into the treatment area.
Dermal Fillers can be used to 'Enhance Lips', reduce the appearance of 'Nasolabial Folds' (nose to lip lines), reduce some unsightly 'Facial Scarring' and reduce finer lines and wrinkles around the mouth.

Botulinum Toxin A

Botulinum Toxin A has been successfully used for over 15 years in the medical profession. The product itself once injected attaches itself to the nerve, reducing muscle contraction. In the cosmetic world Botolium Toxin A is used widely for reducing lines around the eyes, glabella and forehead, like dermal fillers there are a series of injections for this procedure.
Clients will notice a difference with 5-7 days but for full effect of the treatment can take up to two weeks. In general the treatment lasts up to 3 months though individuals may vary. Following treatment muscle movement in treated areas is reduced, subsequently reducing movement of the surface of the skin during facial expression again lines become less defined.
If interested in Botulinum Toxin A treatment you will be asked to attend an initial face-face consultation to ascertain your suitability for treatment and ensure you have no contraindications, a deposit may be required which will be taken off the price of treatment. All clients treated are required to sign consent forms for treatment and allow myself to take before and after pictures for legal purposes.
