Spontanuity is key in revealing the identity of the artist. Planned and considered works strive for perfection whereas a simple sketch can show the attitudes, passion and even the artists primal perception of the world around him.
Picasso strived to paint and draw like the naivity of a child, but in a sense we all have a natural naivity to the world around us.
