Janie Wilson started making cards in 1998 while looking for a job to suit her degree in textile design. Her cards are now sold in over 600 stores in the UK
A group of around 22 ladies make Janie Wilson greeting cards from home in the UK. They hand tie every bow and carefully position each crystal, pearl and sequin.
These outworkers have a great eye for detail, so every card is finished to an exceptionally high standard. Most have other jobs or are fulltime mums and making cards fits around their lifestyles.
Not only are the cards made in the UK, with printing being done locally, all the card, envelopes, ribbon and other components are bought in the UK too.
