About Founder JAMES SMITH

From a dedicated schoolboy playing at my local club Tarleton, I progressed through from district to county and on to international honours gaining a place in Sale Sharks academy.
A knee injury (ruptured PCL) set me back but not enough to stop me embarking on a rigorous rehab and training schedule to further my rugby career alongside my academic study.
As a semi-professional I have played for Fylde, Preston Grasshoppers, Caldy and Waterloo. I have captained my county, Lancashire and also played for England Colleges.
I am currently player/coach for Ormskirk Rugby Club, rugby coach and strength and conditioning coach – as well as being a dad to two wonderful children.
