Jennie's Daylilies - <>

For six years I have been importing daylilies from the USA to grow and trial in my garden in England. I have around 1,000 or more cultivars.

I will be posting lots of photos of the various daylilies that I imported from the USA and grow here in my Kentish garden. The plants are from all over the United States including Florida, California, Ohio, the mountains of North Carolina and some from Europe.

My main interest lies with the unusual forms and spiders but I like them all - doubles, full forms, miniatures and small flowered ones.

What I am looking for most is a daylily that can still look good in our less than perfect English summers. Good branching, bud placement, colour and flowering duration are among the things I am looking for.

I have also been doing my own hybridising with my favourite performers and got my first seedlings last summer 2013. This year has been a very good year for the seedlings and I will be posting photographs of them on this page.

Later in the year I will post photos of my Hellebore crosses that flower here and my growing Galanthus (snowdrop) collection which keeps me busy during the winter.

I will be offering plants for sale on this page as they become available. I hope you enjoy the photos.
