Established in 1996, Karting North East has grown to be one of the most experienced activity providers in the UK arranging just about any type of event from simple birthday parties to huge multi-activity corporate events.

With one of the largest and most demanding kart circuits in the UK, used for both British Championship and Inter-Nations racing, it is truly a driver's circuit. And being fully floodlit night racing is always popular. With a new fleet of the most up to date hire karts, you can sample the unique experience of real kart racing.

And for the budding Formula 1 drivers of the future we have our specially designed junior paddock circuit, ideal for childrens' parties and for those wanting to start karting as a sport.

In addition to our karting circuits, the biggest speedball paintball arena in the UK awaits you. The tournament based version of paintball, the latest craze from the states, involves a series of fast moving tactical games, absolutely perfect for groups wanting to let of some steam.

Adjacent to the main circuit is our extensive trials bike area available to trials riders 7 days a week with obstacles and challenges for both novices and the most experienced.

Racing on one of the largest and most demanding circuits in the country is an experience never forgotten. Our fleet of 390cc karts are among the fastest hire karts available in the UK. Capable of 66 second laps, that's an average speed of 46 miles an hour, so can you imagine what speed you'll be doing on the main straight? With up to 25 karts racing at once we can cater for both small and large groups of up to 100.

Our state of the art timing system will give you all the information you need including positions, lap times, gaps between drivers and even how consistent your lap times are; perfect evidence for the inevitable stewards enquiry in the pub later on.

Due to the phenomenal growth in motorsport since Lewis Hamilton arrived on the Formula 1 scene, Karting North East has built its own junior paddock circuit designed specifically for 8 - 16 years olds. It's the perfect introduction for children into karting and superb in terms of building confidence and safety awareness. We have a separate briefing room which is ideal for childrens' parties with the briefing room overlooking the junior circuit making it ideal for parents to spectate.

Speedball - Paintball

Prepare for battle. This fast moving version of paintball is not for the fainthearted. It's the latest craze from America and it's the fastest growing sport in the UK.

Karting North East boast the largest Speedball arena in the UK. The arena is around the size of a football pitch and completely flat. The playing surface is made from rubber granules making it far safer and cleaner than traditional paintball.

It's a matter of fast moving actions and quick thinking as you shield yourself behind obstacles in the form of giant inflatables and wooden structures. No long periods of looking for someone to shoot, it's fast action all the way. Shoot or be shot!
Top of the range guns, special non fogging masks and the biggest arena in the country combine to make an unforgettable adrenalin filled experience.

Warden Law Trials Club

Karting North East offers the only facility specifically for trials riders and is open 7 days a week from 9am. We have various challenges for the novice or experienced rider. Giant cable reels, rocks, upturned skips and steel boxes are only the start of a long term project to transform the area into the North's premier location for trials riders. Future plans include a trials school and regular competitions.

A powerful jet wash is available for use before you leave (for a small fee) saving time and mess. In addition, a cafe is open at weekends serving hot and cold food and drinks. Light refreshments and use of the clubhouse and washroom facilities are available every day.
