The Knight School of Dance was established in 1986 by Alison Knight after completing a three-year dance teacher training course. She continues to further her knowledge and qualifications by attending regular courses and has gained dance teaching qualifications with the 'Royal Academy of Dance' (RAD) and the 'Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing' (ISTD) examining bodies and holds Registered Teacher status with both organizations.

Pupils are encouraged to have fun whilst learning a variety of skills which will not only help with their dance interests, but will equip them with key life-skills for any workplace.
