There is a Lower school with pupils from years 3 to year 8, and an Upper school with years 8 to 11. As a small school with around 50 pupils, it specializes in creating a calm, nurturing environment, where each child can grow and progress not only educationally but also socially and emotionally. A key part of the school's ethos is the emphasis on small class sizes classes typically consisting of around 6 pupils, allowing greater interaction between pupils and teachers, as well as catering for the specific needs of the pupil. Currently the school has 47 pupils on roll. Most of the pupils have a Statement of Special Needs or an EHCP. Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy is provided on site, and integrated into the lessons as well as being offered on a 1:1 basis. Following the creation of an Art Block, the school also places an emphasis on the visual arts, and the GCSE results in these subjects were all at either A or A* in summer 2015. Year groups are named for Greek letters (e.g. Omicron) which may vary depending on enrolment in a particular year.
