Our holiday home is up for short term rental. This privately owned caravan is housed on the Lakeland Leisure Park in Flookburgh Cumbria.
The site has all the usual Haven Holiday amenities such as swimming pools indoor / outdoor, arcades, activity Lake for canoes and peddle boats, day and night entertainment and daily activities.
The site is ideally situated for use as a base for those that would love to explore the beautiful Lake District. Windermere town centre for example is only a 25 minute drive.
The southern point of Lake Windermere is accessible by Newby Bridge and is only 15 Minutes away.
From Newby Bridge, Haverthwaite steam railway, The Lake District Aquarium and the ferry across the Lake are easily accessed.
Nearby villages such as Cartmel, famous for its sticky toffee pudding and horse racing, and Grand-Over-Sands are definitely worth a visit.
