RAFT RACE: The annual raft race is always held before the Village Fete opens in July. The theme for 2016 is Sci-Fi
If you would like to make a raft and take part, the cost is £40 with £10 refunded once your raft is out of the water. Entry forms and rules are available from Paul 07988 157138 or Kev 07841 455591. Competitors will meet at the Parish Meadow and your raft needs to be in the river by 11.30am. All money raised from this event (including the purchase of flour bombs on the day) goes to help the children's organisations within the village and surrounding areas. Prize giving at The Plough, Langford in the evening.
