Welcome to my page, it has been a long time coming.
My name is Lauren Nannery, a Freelance Musician and tutor. I offer individual lessons in Voice, Theatre, piano and music theory to an advanced level. These are done at my home address in a comfortable, welcoming environment. Whether it be to get through exams or just gain in confidence and have a bit of fun, everyone is catered for.
With over seven years experience of private tutoring my students have received passes up to and including Diploma with merits and distinctions.
In 2011, I joined the RiChmusic team, a company who provide Specialised Music lessons for those with Severe Learning Difficulties. Through RiChmusic, I deliver individual sessions as well as group Sensory sessions and Singing Clubs. At the minute, I am based in a school in Lisburn, 3 full days a week. Alongside this, I also enjoy delivering Singing workshops for the UlsterScotts Agency.
In September 2015, I went "back to school" to study more on how Music has a positive affect on those with Learning Difficulties and Autism. This PostGrad is in association with the University of Roehampton and Soundabout.
Performance experience is vital for any budding musician. My pupils perform at many Festivals around the country as well as performance I put on myself. We do as much Charity Fundraising as we can.
Lesson atmosphere is a relaxed one and everyone progresses at their own speed. There is no pressure and no harm in having a laugh/enjoying what you are doing!
