This enclosed facility was opened in April 2011 to replace an existing paddling pool that had been popular with young families for many years.
• The 455m2 splash park has a re-circulating water supply and includes a variety of jets and sprays laid out on a brightly coloured surface.
• The project was funded by £100,000 from Leighton-Linslade Town Council, £50,000 from WREN (Water Recycling Environmental Ltd) and a further £50,000 from Central Bedfordshire Council from the funding received from the Department of Education’s Playbuilder Fund. It is hugely popular, attracting families in and around the local area and is open from May until the end of August.
