Leyland Freemasons

The Leyland Group of Freemasons is a happy and vibrant organisation with many varied activities taking place all year round and is one of 22 groups within the Masonic Province of West Lancashire. The Province of West Lancashire is the largest province under the Grand Lodge of England.

Freemasonry first began to be practiced in Leyland when Carnarvon Lodge No 2376 was consecrated on 12 December 1890 at the Infants’ School, Leyland. Now all lodges within the group, with the exception of Old Huttonian Lodge (the lodge for ex-pupils of Hutton Grammar School) now meet at the new Masonic Hall, Wellington Park.

Wellington Park is Leyland’s splendid Masonic Hall. It is both a purpose-built Masonic centre and a hotel venue of the highest quality for social events whether Masonic or not. The facility is shared by all the population of the Leyland area and is seen as a focal point for community gatherings and business seminars.

On this page you will find information relating to Freemasonry, articles on Masonic and social events and links to much more information including the latest social events presented by Wellington Park.
