Life for African Mothers: Making birth safe for mothers in sub-Saharan Africa
Life for African Mothers concentrate its efforts on tackling Millenium Development Goal 5, reducing Maternal Mortality, with a focus on Sub Sahran Africa.
LFAM do this by sending much needed medications to our selected regions along with supplying medical skills exchange visits with British midwives and medics. There is also a key domestic focus on awareness with presentations explaining the plight of Sub-Saharan women and LFAM vital work being demonstrated aropund the UK.
