A fun and friendly nursery providing early learning for your children

Little Oaks is located on the outskirts of Acomb village , two miles from Hexham in the Tyne Valley, Northumberland. The nursery is located within Acomb First School. The Nursery has a main nursery room, an outdoor classroom, access to a large yard for more active play and a large school field which has a wild area, pond, orchard, hammocks, quiet areas and log cabin. The school is surrounded by farmland and a small wooded copse. The nursery have forest school sessions in the copse, weather permitting throughout the year.

We aim to provide a wide range of stimulating activities and experiences in a safe, welcoming environment where each child is valued, We recognise that you are the first educator of your child and will work in partnership with you and value your contributions.

Little Oaks is a registered charity (no 1041142) We rely on donations and fund raising events to help run the nursery and meet the day to day running costs.
