Llechfan 16mm Garden Railway

Built in the garden of the Llechfan volunteer hostel at Tywyn Wharf station on the Talyllyn Railway. Started in 2001 with a fairly basic circuit it has since progressed to become 2 interconnected circuits with a branch line under construction built to incorporate the buildings of the Compton Down Railway on 2009. At present it is mainly 32mm but there are plans to build an extensive 45mm system to feed the heavier industrial sites that make up a big part of Compton Down.

We're always on the lookout for willing volunteers so if there's anything you fancy lending a hand with let us know... from weeding the dandelions to heavy drainage works.. we can find something for all!
