Opening in 2017, Longbridge Village will provide 260 spacious homes and a host of opportunities whether you wish to make new friends, enjoy hobbies and skills or protect your future in a safe and welcoming community where care is available if you need it.
A close partnership between The ExtraCare Charitable Trust and Birmingham City Council, Longbridge Village is already under construction on Lickey Road, not far from Bournville College. Applications for apartments open in 2016 and the Village opens its doors to first residents in 2017.

The facilities are at the heart of a state-of-the-art, sustainable community that will benefit over 400 older people, encouraging social and active participation amongst all age groups within the local neighbourhood. Residents, visitors and volunteers will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of hobbies, including choir singing, Tai Chi, writing, drama, wheelchair aerobics and woodwork, all designed to support independence and improved social opportunities.
ExtraCare staff will provide care for up to a third of residents within their own home. This will include a well-being service and specialist, award-winning support for those who might develop dementia.
