Longton Central Hall Concert Band

A fun and friendly wind band based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. We welcome wind and brass players of all ages to join us and play some music!

Longton Central Hall Band has been going for the past 15 years in various forms, but always with the basis of a wind band. We perform regularly throughout the year and like to play all kinds of music including classical arrangements, film and TV themes, and other well known tunes. As well as our own concerts we often provide music for parades including Remembrance Day, and some of the important services at church (e.g. Christmas nativity, Carol Services and Mothering Sunday).

The band rehearses every Tuesday 7:30pm until 9:00pm during the School term, and we play for the enjoyment more than anything else!

We welcome woodwind, brass and percussion players of all ages and abilities; as long as you can read music and enjoy playing with other like minded people then do come along! We strongly feel that more experienced and older players help and boost the confidence of younger players, which will inevitably help with music making as a whole!
