Run by Lisa Lane
Loopy Lisa is Lisa Lane; she makes fudge along with the fudga lumpas at the fudge kitchen nearBishop Auckland in County Durham. The recipes are adapted from a traditional Women’s Institute template, using all butter and evaporated milk and only real flavours – no preservatives or artificial flavours are used. There is no difference between the ways in which Lisa’s fudges are made and the way you would produce them at home – she just makes lots more! The only machinery in Lisa’s fudge kitchen is a set of weighing scales – its arm power that makes good fudge!
Lisa became Loopy Lisa in 2004 when she started to make fudge at home in Loop Lane – that’s why she’s Loopy Lisa, she’s not mad at all!
