Photographer of rural life. Yorkshire. Commissions colour/B&W. Prints: lucysaggers.com; watermarkgallery.co.uk; artfinder.com
Lucy photographs rural life and landscape, currently focusing on documenting ordinary life in her home village of Ampleforth, on the edge of the North York Moors. Seeking light and shadow, people and goings on, she records small, often unseen moments to portray fragments of rural stories.
Her limited edition black and white images capture the beauty of life, the allure of the landscape, and the delicate, fine detail of the natural world; telling a contemporary story of the fabric of the countryside through its people and landscapes.
