O'Donovan Rossa GAC Magherafelt is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Magherafelt, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. The club is a member of Derry GAA and currently caters for Gaelic football, Camogie and Ladies' Gaelic football. The club is named after Irish patriot and revolutionary Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa.The club have won the Derry Senior Football Championship on six occasions. Underage teams up to U-12's play in South Derry league and championships, from U-14 upwards teams compete in All-Derry competitions.Gaelic footballMagherafelt fields Gaelic football teams at U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, Minor, Reserve and Senior levels. The Senior team competes in the Derry Senior Football Championship and Division 1 of the Derry ACFL.CamogieThe club has U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, Minor and Senior Camogie teams. U14 have had success in feili and have progressed players in seniors. Coach Nial and sara gribbion have brought the Camogs up to a high level standard with star players such as michaela con, siobhan comer and bríd. u12= Success through go games and setting a high bar for their future. U14= many feili success and also championship and league, winning championship 2011 •B• and runners up in 2012 beaten by hardcore Bellaghy. Winning it though 1992 1997 2001 2003 and 2006 U16= hard year for camogs as they move from children to young ladies and have had many successes though the years in League and championships 1993 1994 1999 2000 2005 2010 2014 Minor= minor has never really occurred till recent events. Senior= having so much success over years we cannot describe, but most recently 2014 winning Leaug, championship, and the final of intermediate champions getting beat by rivals Newbridge. Coach Niall has been a huge success part of this team being here for three years and bringing them from division 4 to 1
