Maidenhead Revolution Football Club are a local football side founded in 2007 by Kieran Smith. The Dragons play in the Thames Valley Sunday Football League and are affiliated to the Berks and Bucks County FA.
Maidenhead Revolution Football Club was founded in 2007 by Kieran Smith. The Dragons play in the Thames Valley Sunday Football League. The team play their home games at Hurley Recreation Ground, Hurley.
In it's seventh season now, Revolution have won the Atlantic Celtic Cup twice (2009 and 2010) and also overcame local rivals Pinkneys Green FC in the 2010 League Shield Final in a 3-2 victory at Stag Meadow, Windsor.
Before the 2011/2012 season, Kieran Smith stood down as Manager and quickly appointed Salvo Scarvaci as his successor. Salvo immediately changed the fortunes of the club and finished off the 2011/2012 season with a 2nd place in the League and two Cup Finals. Revo were winners of the Mary Wells Memorial Trophy and were Runners Up to Premier Division Shamrocks in the League Challenge Cup.
For the 2013/2014 season, Revolution have been placed in Division 2 of the Thames Valley Sunday Football League after an end of season restructure of the club.
