The Maroush Bakehouse
At the heart of the Lebanese meal, there is bread, so it’s no wonder that when it comes to mastery of the baker’s oven, the Lebanese have a magical touch.
London’s favourite Lebanese restaurateurs, Maroush, have opened a new concept, the Maroush Bakehouse, a new artisan bakery-restaurant concept, in two locations; Earls Court and Knightsbridge.
At Maroush Bakehouse, traditional Lebanese Khobez (pita bread) and savoury and sweet pastries are expertly created and served to eat in or take away, alongside a range of British and Continental artisan breads, and fabulous Lebanese mezza, soups, salads, grills, stews and desserts.
All of the more than 25 varieties of bread are freshly made on the premises at Earls Court as is our wide range of pastries. We have a team of expert bakers and patissieres who work to traditional recipes, and use ancient craft skills combined with modern baking techniques using state of the art equipment.
You can now buy all your daily bread, including all the artisan varieties from sour doughs to baguettes, from the bakery.
You can even watch the Khobez (Lebanese flat breads) being mixed and baked whilst you eat, through the huge glass bakery window which opens up onto the bakehouse.
