This shop first opened as a bakery in 1898. At that time there was over a dozen traditional bakeries in Oswaldtwistle.
Sadly, over the last 116 years they've all closed down. Leaving all Martin's as the only fully qualified baker's shop in Ossy.
Since Ernest Martin, the present owner's grandfather, started working here as a young lad in the 1920's, each and every morning we have made and baked our produce from fresh daily.
By cutting out the middleman we strive to give you, our valued customers, better value, and a truly traditional taste of good, honest baking.
With your continued support we look forward to doing this for many more years to come.
