The Mercian Centre is located at the heart of the National Forest in Leicestershire. A resource for the local community.

The centre sits adjacent to Mount St Bernard Abbey, a Cistercian Monastery, amidst the beautiful Charnwood Forest.

Offering the perfect spot for your day or residential event, conference, business meeting, school/youth trip, church weekend, retreat, group outing, individual break or simply B&B, we would love to meet you.

You are also most welcome to just call in for a spot of refreshment at our fabulous St. Joseph's tearoom.

In need of a meeting room? We have a variety of character filled rooms that can be tailored to suit your requirements, whether that be casual and relaxed or in need of a more formal setting, and would be very happy to show you around.

We are delighted to offer a selection of craft items for sale, made by local crafters, in our tearoom. We also hold regular Coracle making workshops, wood craft days, and music events.
