Middle Flass Lodge is situated in the peaceful Ribble Valley at the heart of the
Forest of Bowland.
Middle Flass Lodge was originally a barn and cow byre which we converted into beautiful accommodation with a restaurant in 1996.
The lodge is approximately three miles outside of the attractive village of Bolton-by-Bowland. Perfectly situated eight miles between the Lancashire market town of Clitheroe and also the Yorkshire market town of Settle, making an ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas, either by car or on foot. The Forest of Bowland is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is an ideal area for walking and cycling. Fishing licences are easily available locally. The National Parks of the Lake District
and the Yorkshire Dales are only a short drive away.
A full English Table D’hote dinner is served in the relaxing dining room, using local fresh produce wherever possible. The dinner menu is varied and changed on a regular basis. An extensive breakfast menu is served with choices of fresh fruit, full English or fish dishes. We are happy to cater for individual diets upon request. The dining room is licensed and has a selection of wines and spirits to suit most tastes.
We have a comfortable residents lounge where you may relax and even plan your itinerary for the following day, with a selection of walking books and maps available to browse through. Drying facilities are available if required.
Our bedrooms have fantastic views of the beautiful surrounding countryside. Each room is comfortably furnished with full en-suite facilities, a flatscreen television with Freeview, a radio, an alarm clock, an eco-hairdryer, room controlled central heating and hospitality trays. There are electrically heated blankets provided for the Autumn and Winter months.
We have ample private parking for all guests.
