Minnies is a 17th Century Thatched cottage in a quiet cul-de-sac at the heart of the attractive village of Burton Bradstock.
Burton Bradstock has a Post Office that also provides a range of locally sourced food items and there is also a small Spar supermarket at the garage. The village has two pubs with extensive menus including home cooked meals and locally sourced ingredients. There is also a children’s play park located in the village.
Minnies is 10 minutes walk through the fields to Chesil Beach, and the acclaimed Hive Cafe. The beach and adjacent foreshore are clean and unspoilt and easily reached with a car park.
The cottage has been fully refurbished with modern services and comfortably sleeps 4 adults or a family of 5 on request.
Downstairs is open plan with the kitchen separated from the dining/sitting area by a marble topped bar. The kitchen is compact but fully equipped with washer/drier, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with icebox, hob and extractor fan and is fully equipped.
The living area has comfortable easy chairs for four, around a beamed fireplace. There is a TV with freeview and DVD player.
Also downstairs through a small lobby, is the bathroom with bath (three quarter length), shower, handbasin and WC.
Upstairs is a double and twin bedded room where a third temporary bed can be made up on request. All linen including towels, is supplied. However holidaymakers should bring their own beach towels.
The cottage has its own wholly enclosed garden with lawn and patio facing south and it is quite secure for young children. Parking is on the street, close to the cottage.
