MJM Equestrian run by International event rider Martin Mullins is now based at Mayhill Barn Farm, Swanmore.

-ABOUT MJM EQUESTRIAN-

MJM Equestrian is the business name under which Martin Mullins works.

Martin has ridden and been involved with horses from a young age. He grew up in the Hampshire area and after qualifying for the U21 British Young Rider Dressage Squad (BYRDS), moved North to work for International event rider Craig Anderson as a working pupil.

Martin stayed with Craig for 4 years until the opportunity to work for International eventer, Mark Corbett, arose. This saw Martin move back down South with his then 3 year old, and he was based with Mark for five years.

While at Mark's establishment Martin was approached by Jane Holderness- Roddam to take over as main rider for the West Kington Stud, Nr Bath. It was through Jane that Martin was able to forge connections with Jennie Loriston- Clarke and as a result was offered the ride on Catherston Liberator at the Badminton Horse Trials Stallion Parade 2014. Martin has ridden at International level for numerous owners, and plans to further his career from his own base at Mayhill Barn Farm.

-TEACHING-

BHS qualified, Martin has been teaching for almost 10 years. He has taught all levels of horse and rider and treats every client and their horse as an individual partnership.

Martin's approach is often described as subtle and sensitive and his enthusiasm for getting the best out of horse and rider cannot be overlooked. Naturally empathetic, Martin is particularly good with young and inexperienced horses.

UNITAS DUTOPIA- produced from a 4 year old by Martin through to International Level.

NEVER SAY NO- ridden and competed for Tim and Jane Holderness- Roddam at CCI* level

LANGALLER LETS TWIST- promising youngster started by Martin on behalf of Jason Ferguson

WELTON DOUBLE CRACKER- Martin had the honour of riding one of the last of the 'Welton' stallions for Tim and Jane.

THE HONOURABLE WILFRED- plucked from the field, Martin broke, produced and competed this horse from scratch, and part- owns him with Fiona Fouracre

CATHERSTON LIBERATOR- Rode at the Badminton Horse Trials Stallion Parade 2014 for Jennie Loriston- Clarke

GREENLANES ALMAR B- Owned by Peter Greenaway. Martin started this young horse's competitive career in the dressage arena before he went on to winning the 2013 regional championship with Sara-Jane Lanning before being sold to a South African para rider to compete at the World Equestrian Games

GREENLANES PROSPERO- Started his competitive career with Martin and went on to be placed in both Open Novice and Open Elementary Regional Finals in 2014
