We are a friendly club welcoming new members. You don’t need to be a Schumacher or McRae to join! We cater for everyone.

Morecambe Car Club Ltd. was formed in the spring of 1952 by a group of local motorsport enthusiasts, namely Arthur Caunt, Arnold Eastwood and Jack Shaw. The club grew rapidly in the 1950s and 60s organizing frequent Road Rallies, annual rounds of the Players No. 6 Autocross Championship, the Leighton Hall Speed Hill Climb and many Clubman events.

Morecambe Car ClubWe are a friendly club welcoming new members. You don’t need to be a Schumacher or McRae to join! We cater for everyone, with social events such as the Annual Dinner, Barbecues and first Tuesday Meetings.

If you want to compete we run a 12 Car rally series which is a series of small simple format rallies run on a Tuesday evening. We have two autotest series, run on Sundays through the year.

For those who are a little more experienced we run some larger events. These include stage rallies such as the Bay Stages, road rallies such as the Eastwood Trophy and a historic rally, the Classic Illuminations Rally.
