Upcycled products such as denim bags, pictures and cards together with leather products handmade in the Isles of Scilly by Erica Hicks.

We make and sell products from our tiny studio in the beautiful Isles of Scilly. we upcylce items from a range of materials such as wood, denim, canvas and other fabrics found on the islands. For example, we make denim bags from old jeans, cheeseboards from reclaimed wood, applique pictures and wall hangings from tartan shirts and old tents and cards from recycled fabrics. As well as this, we make beautifully handcrafted belts from the finest quality Devonshire leather which comes from Britain’s only remaining traditional oak bark tannery. We are lucky enough to do all this in the beautiful surroundings of the Isles of Scilly in the tiny but industrious Phoenix Craft Studios. The workshops are based in the Porthmellon Business Park, just a few metres from Porthmellon Beach. Admittedly we can’t see the sea from out workshop but we can potter down to the beach with a mug of coffee in under a minute. It’s great to work here.
