I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THE GUITAR FOR OVER 25 YEARS ON STAGE AND IN THE STUDIO. I TRAINED AT THE BRITISH ACADEMY OF NEW MUSIC AND HAVE BEEN TEACHING THE GUITAR TO PRIVATE STUDENTS AND AT DAVENANT FOUNDATION, DEBDEN PARK AND ILFORD COUNTY HIGH SCHOOLS FOR OVER FIVE YEARS. I ALSO RUN AFTER-SCHOOL BAND CLUBS AND PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS.
I am a passionate and enthusiastic guitar teacher with experience in most forms of contemporary music (e.g. Rock, Pop, Funk, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Folk etc.) having performed in various bands, as a solo performer and as an accompanist for the past 25+ years.
I have a relaxed and supportive teaching style and encourage creativity, self-expression and confidence as well as the learning of technique, relevant theory and performance skills. I have a level 4 teaching qualification from Access to Music.
My sessions are individually tailored.
