Next Stage for Fostering is a small, local Independent Fostering Agency providing high quality support to Foster Carers, children and young people.

Next Stage for Fostering is a small, local independent fostering Agency. We do not aspire to be the biggest Agency but we do aspire to be the best! We pride ourselves on running a small, friendly, highly professional ‘family feel’ agency. We are passionate about the importance of knowing all our Foster Carers, their families and the children and young people placed.

The accessible office is open to all our staff and Foster Carer who frequently drop in for daily support, training, support groups, events and activities and there is plenty of free on-site parking.

We are totally committed to providing a high standard of care for children, young people and excellent support to Foster Carers.

Next Stage for Fostering forms part of the established Next Stage Group which was founded in 2001 and has an excellent track record in providing support and care to vulnerable children/young people and adults.

The Next Stage group has a vast array of knowledge, experience and expertise which can be shared ensuring the highest quality of service is provided across the whole group.

The Next Stage group services are: -.

Next Stage ‘A Way Forward’ provides Community and Residential support to vulnerable adults. The community element provides care and support to adults who wish to remain in their own homes and have their own independence. The service users are supported and enabled to manage their own homes.
The Residential Units are bridging units for adults who have usually moved from an intensive support setting and who still require 24/7 support as they currently lack certain skills needed to live independently in the community. The goal of the residential units is to provide adults with the skills and knowledge they require to eventually live independently within their own community.

Next Stage 4life provides two high quality purpose designed four bedded children’s homes. The homes offer care to children/young people, aged 8 to 17, with complex needs and who at this time are unable to live within their own family or within a foster placement.

Next Stage a Way Forward Youth Development
provides support to young people aged 16 plus who are vulnerable and have complex needs. The service has 2 residential units which provide apartment style tenancies with 24/7 support. The aim of the service is to support and assist young people to acquire the necessary skills to enable them to successfully move on to their own tenancy. The service also supports young people who have their own housing tenancy within the community.
