Northumberland Cottages at Breamish House will be opening in the Spring of 2017. Luxury accommodation with fabulous panoramic views of the Cheviot Hills. With walks and cycle routes literally on the doorstep this is an ideal base for exploring the Northumberland National Park, bird watching, star gazing or simply relaxing in front of a cozy log burner whilst enjoying the scenery.
Powburn village has a pub (currently being refurbished), tea room, antiques centre, convenience store, children's play area with zip wire and community garden. At Breamish House guests have the option of exploring over 3 acres of private gardens, watching the wildlife from the summer house or playing tennis on the outdoor court. We welcome dogs in some of the cottages and there are dog friendly pubs and coffee shops in the area. Under a 1 mile walk from your cottage are Branton Lakes with a hide to sit and enjoy the many species of birds on display. Within 10 miles are Rothbury, Wooler and Alnwick, home of Harry Potter and the famous Alnwick gardens. The spectacular Northumbrian coastline is within 15 miles and day trips to the Farne Islands, Lindisfarne, Keilder Forest or even Edinburgh are all made easy due to the convenient location of Breamish House.
